The Kingdom-driven ministry of Bread of Life Ministry covers members from all walks of life.
As a ministry under the dynamic call and leadership of Founder & Senior Pastor C. T. Lewis, Bread of Life Ministry has been a thriving and growing ministry since its beginning in 2005. At the core of our ministry are Our Statements, Mission and Vision, which undergird the call of outreach carried out through the heart of Pastor Lewis and the members of Bread of Life Ministry.
At the heart of the ministry is Outreach. Embedded into our Bedrock Principles (see “What We Believe”), with Pastor Lewis’ vision, alongside the generosity of the members, Bread of Life Ministry is taking Hampton Roads by storm! Bread of Life Ministry has given away nearly 1,000 book-bags loaded with school supplies, shoes, clothing items for youth as part of our Back to School Give-A- Way event. On a weekly basis, Bread of Life Ministry offers a food pantry and clothing as part of general Outreach to the community. These are just SOME of the ways in which Pastor Lewis and “BREAD” of Life Ministry get the message of Christ out to the Hampton Roads community and the world.
What We Believe
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.
We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and on the third morning, He rose for our Justification.
According to scripture, accepting Christ as your Savior is the only way to heaven.

Our Mission at “BREAD” of Life Ministry is to continually operate as a Kingdom-Driven, Christ-Centered global outreach center focused on the holistic development of people, communities, and marketplace ministry.

EVANGELISM
Our number one goal is and will always be the salvation of the lost. While we specialize in attracting men, the unsaved and the unchurched, and people who want a fresh start from the mistakes they have made in their past, we want to expand to reach people from other races, cultures and socio-economic classes.

HOLISTIC IMPROVEMENT
We will seek the holistic improvement of each member of our ministry – spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially. We will preach and teach Biblical mandates to achieve success in all these areas. We will also make available the necessary classes, group resource and qualified individuals to help each willing member achieve holistic improvement.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
We will empower youth in our church and community with the Word of God, programs, resources, training and state-of- the-art facilities to meet their needs.

OUTREACH
We will always specialize in outreach programs for hurting people (i.e., homeless, poor, those with substance abuse issues, the incarcerated, those who have suffered physical, verbal or emotional abuse, etc.).

COMMUNITY IMPACT
We will impact the Hampton Roads area and the surrounding communities with our television ministry, radio ministry, outreach campaigns, crusades, business development, city-wide event, prayer, intercession, partnership with local schools, partnership with community, city and state officials, etc.

We will continue to be the model for excellent ministry in our city and in the nation. We will always strive to be excellent in our customer service – how we treat our members, visitors and guests from the moment they pull into our parking lot to when they leave, and how we respond to them when they call, email or write with request or concerns. We will be the standard for excellence in how we do people.
