To prepare everyone for their divinely ordained redemptive witness in every place and circumstance.
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke 4:18-19
“Bread”, as a part of the Body of Christ, has the right and responsibility to express to the troubled and distressed world the light and life that only come through having Jesus as a personal Savior.
For “Bread” to be silent in the face of need, injustice and exploitation is to deny Jesus himself.
In light of that, it is our belief that whatever is of interest and concern to the people — physical, intellectual, social, and economical — should also be of interest and concern to the church.
Therefore, the purpose of our ministry is to prepare everyone for their divinely ordained redemptive witness in every place and circumstance.
