If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, or do not know what it means to accept him into your heart, then please read the following simple steps below.  After you read the steps, then say the prayer, know that you have just taken the most important step of your life, and may we here at Bread of Life be the first to welcome you to the family.

First:        Admit you are a sinner

Second:  Ask for forgiveness (Repent)

Third:      Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross and has risen from the grave

Fourth:   Ask Jesus to9 come in and control your life

Finally:   Receive Him as your Savior

16 “For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. 18  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:16-18 (ESV)

8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Roman 10:8-10 (ESV)

Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I ask now that you forgive me of my sins.  Lord, I confess that Jesus is the Son of God and I accept him in my life as my personal savior.  I believe that he died for me and that he went to hell in my place. I believe that God then raised him from the dead on the third day and he is a living Savior.  Now I ask that Jesus come into my heart.  This is my prayer in Jesus name I pray, Amen. That’s it!  You have made the best decision.  We encourage you to get connected with a local ministry in order to continue to grow.  If you are in the Hampton Roads area we invite you to come connect with us, we would love to have you.  God loves you and we, at “Bread” do too.  God bless you!
